Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for Associate and Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA on first shift. Above all, employees will be provided the opportunity to seek, speak, and listen within the organization which they are encouraged to share externally with each Boeing customer to build balanced work relationships.Position Responsibilities:Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.Required Skills:20+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).20+ years working in aerospace in-service support with ultrasonics testing (UT) and/or eddy current(ET).Proficient in MS Office SuiteAbility to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.Preferred Skills:25+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).Experience with CAD Software
