Production Planner / Scheduler
QES has an immediate opening for a Production Planner / Scheduler to help power our fast-growing, innovation-driven manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll coordinate materials, shop-floor activities, and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of custom and standard electrical equipment. You’ll collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations to balance capacity, meet deadlines, and optimize workflow efficiency. What You’ll Do
Manage and maintain production schedules for
fabrication, assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment.
Balance capacity and material availability to hit ontime delivery (OTD) targets.
Monitor schedules in realtime—adjusting for
engineering changes, material shortages, or labor constraints.
Escalate delays or risks promptly and collaborate on recovery plans.
Support KPIs for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and
Delivery, tracking performance and
recommending improvements.
Partner with Procurement, Inventory Control, and
Engineering to ensure materials and components
(breakers, drives, relays, enclosures, etc.) are available when needed.
Use ERP/MRP systems such as M2M, SAP, or
Oracle to maintain accurate data and reports.
Generate production dashboards and performance summaries.
Participate in daily production meetings and
continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
1+ years’ experience in production scheduling or planning.
Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, lead times, and shopfloor operations.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems
(M2M, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Solid grasp of manufacturing workflows,
capacity planning, and scheduling principles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scheduling custom or engineeredtoorder (ETO) builds.
Strong Excel and dataanalysis skills; familiarity with scheduling dashboards.
APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) a plus.
