Part-Time Lab Assistant

AnaSpec is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to support GMP and research grade downstream manufacturing operations. This role will assist the production team with laboratory preparation, equipment cleaning, documentation, material handling, and general operational support within a regulated GMP environment.This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or laboratory operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist GMP and research grade production staff with downstream laboratory operations and daily activitiesPrepare laboratory materials, buffers, solutions, and supplies as directedClean, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areasSupport batch record documentation and GMP data entry practicesPerform preparative column packing activities. Label, stage, and transfer raw materials, samples, and consumablesAssist with inventory organization and stock replenishmentSupport equipment setup, cleaning verification, and room readiness activitiesEnsure implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of QMS through SOP documentation.Perform other related duties as assigned by management QualificationsHigh school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferredPrior laboratory experience preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to follow written procedures and maintain accurate recordsComfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environmentBasic computer skills including Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsPart-time schedule with flexible hours based on operational needsCompensation$24-26 per hour
