Best Company.VP, Human Resources Job SummaryProvide strategic oversight of enterprise-wide Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Equity Administration, and HR Data & Reporting functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the Total Rewards strategy. Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the HR team to deliver service excellence, operational accuracy, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across all HR operations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesContinuously exhibit and uphold Core Values of Integrity, Accountability, Communication and Teamwork, Innovation and Customer ServiceManage core HR Operations functions and managers, including Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Data & ReportingEstablish operational excellence, service standards, and continuous improvement within HR operationsPrepare and maintain operational expense and salary budget for the HR and Operations departmentsWork with HR Managers to develop, implement and maintain personnel policies and procedures, including review and guidance on the employee handbookAssist the SVP, Chief Human Resources & Operations Officer and HR team with special projects as neededBenefits FocusLead the design, implementation and governance of comprehensive employee benefit programs, including health, welfare, retirement and wellness offeringsWork with internal stakeholders and third parties to evaluate and optimize benefit offerings, ensuring market competitiveness, cost effectiveness and employee engagementManage vendor selection, broker relationships and benefit administration partnersEnsure compliance with all applicable benefits-related regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLAOversee benefit audits, reporting and documentationPayroll FocusProvide oversight of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state and local regulationsSupport the implementation and ongoing maintenance of payroll controls, systems, and processes to support operational efficiency and audit readinessCompensation and Equity FocusEnsure compensation policies and structure are in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulationsEnsure that base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs remain competitive and align with the compensation philosophyLead and oversee the annual compensation cycle, including planning, execution and communication of annual salary increases and short-term incentive programs;
