Motivated by the vibrant growth of our metropolitan area, we invite you to join us in making a substantial impact together.Position OverviewOur Division of Nephrology is in search of a full-time Pediatric Nephrologist to become part of our dynamic and expanding team.About the DivisionRanked #39 by U.S. News and World Report, our Nephrology Division is the largest pediatric nephrology program in the Southwest. Our team consists of 11 board-certified nephrologists and a nurse practitioner, providing care across six satellite locations in the Valley, as well as in Flagstaff and Yuma. Our physicians are actively involved in multi-disciplinary clinics throughout the hospital, including Spina Bifida, Fontan, Stone Clinic, Long-Term Follow-up from BMT, Lupus Clinic, and more.Inpatient Care and ServicesOur division plays a vital role in inpatient care, supporting 484 beds, which includes 153 intensive care beds (PICU, CVICU, NICU). We are proud to host Arizona's only dedicated pediatric dialysis center, offering both outpatient and inpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis to around 40 patients. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT) program and are the only facility in the state with a dedicated Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program.Commitment to Education and ResearchBeyond patient care, our organization is dedicated to education and innovation. Our physicians hold academic positions at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, Mayo Medical School, and Creighton Medical School, and are actively involved in both clinical and translational research.Fellowship ProgramWe are excited to announce the initiation of our Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship program. This fellowship will provide a unique opportunity for physicians to enhance their clinical and research skills in pediatric nephrology, equipping them to become leaders in the field.
