With continued growth across our operations, we are seeeking an experience Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to lead and strengthen our quality and food safety programs across multiple facilities.This is a high-mpact leadership role for a hands-on professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment, values collaboration, and is passionate about producing safe, high-quality products that meet rigorous regulatory and customer standards.Position Overview:Reporting to the Director of Nutrition & Quality, the FSQA Manager provides technical leadership, strategic direction, and daily support to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance team and technicians across all facilities. You will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust food safety and quality systems while serving as a key point of contact for customers, auditors, and regulatory agencies.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a multi-shift FSQA team across multiple manufacturing facilitiesDevelop, implement, and continuously improve FSQA policies, programs, and proceduresEnsure compliance with all applicable food and feed regulations and company standardsEstablish and maintain controls to ensure the production of safe, consistent, high-quality productsServe as the primary quality contact for customers, including audits, complaints, pilot runs, new product launches, and specification changesDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and profitabilityPartner cross-functionally with operations, R&D, and leadership to support business growthQualifications:Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Animal Science, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline (required)Minimum of 5 years of experience in a feed or food processing environmentStrong preference for experience in dry animal or pet food manufacturingAt least 5 years of management experience leading a multi-shift FSQA departmentDeep understanding of analytical chemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology as applied to food/feed systemsThorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FSMA, FDA, USDA-FSIS, and APHISSkills & Attributes:Proven leader with the ability to inspire, develop, and hold teams accountableStrategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize complex initiatives and work independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholdersComfortable interacting directly with customers and regulatory agenciesProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointWork Environment & Physical Requirements:This role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires the ability to:Work around dust, noise, heat, and coldSafely operate in areas with industrial machinery while following PPE and safety protocolsWalk, stand, climb, and reach on a continuous basisPass a job-related pre-employment physical and drug screeningBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:· Day shift· Monday to Friday· Pay: $80,000. / annualPlease send resume and letter of interest to Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.EOE
