Subject to change based on MISD SchoolCalendar for the 2025-2026 school yearHours: Split shift from 6:30am-9:00am / 4:00pm-6:30pm (approx. 5 hours per day), Monday - FridaySalary Range: $12.00/hourPosition Summary/Duties:Directly supervise a group of children before and after the regular camp hoursEnsure children's safety, manage children's behavior and act as a role model and mentorConduct activities and character development practices with children according to the programscheduleEnsure maintenance and appropriate use of all building facilities, resources, supplies andequipment with care and pride; including organization, cleanliness and daily set-up/take-down ofthe program areaMaintain positive relations with children, parents and co-workersAttend and participate in special events, staff meetings and staff trainingsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 17 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent, preferredExperience working with school-age children in a day camp or similar setting highly preferredAbility to effectively communicate with staff, children, and parentsAbility to plan and conduct age-appropriate activities including, but not limited to:
