Job Shop / Production: $21 / hour (Day Shift)

Local manufactorer in compressed air systems, pumps, blowers, and vacuum solutions is seeking production technicians for both day and swing shifts. You will be assembling industrial packages from bare parts, in “job shop” and production environment. This includes mechanical connections, supports and structures, and control panels. Pay is $21 per hour but may be higher depending on skill and experience. Duties listed below: Assemble mechanical components, such as, air ends, blowers and other compressed air system components, working on a shop floor. Inspects components for proper assembly, specifications, fit and finish. Assembles and positions components according to knowledge of unit being assembled and through interpretation of engineering drawings Positions components with a forklift, overhead crane or manually fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand and portable powered tools. Bend and install tubing and fittings for oil lubrication/cooling systems. Install plumbing. Align couplings and sub-assemblies to gearbox or other components. Maintaining staged parts and liaison between production and parts. Minimum forklift experience preferred but not required. Work in conjunction with Production Foreman to ensure all duties are complete to end of units. Perform all workstation and shop clean-up duties as assigned. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematic. Desired Qualifications: Mechinical or Electro-mechanical experience is desired Read & interpret assembly drawings, blueprints and/or schematics Ability to use hand tools, power tools Physically able (lifting of 50+ lbs. occasionally) Interested?
