Position: Weekend Packer / InspectorLocation: Huntley (F135 Main – 11320 E. Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142)Shift: Weekend Night Shift | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AMSchedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and SundaysPay Rate: $18.76/hour + $1.25 for Shift DifferentialSummary DescriptionThe Weekend Packer / Inspector is responsible for inspecting and packaging thermoformed product to ensure finished goods meet customer specifications and quality requirements while maintaining safe and efficient production flow.What You’ll Be DoingRemove completed thermoformed sheets from machinesVisually inspect thermoformed sheets for defectsRemove and segregate non-conforming product according to inspection control plansReport non-conforming parts to the machine operatorAssemble cardboard cartonsRemove individual parts and stack according to job specificationsLoad parts into cartons and seal cartonsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaPerform additional duties as assignedKeep accurate part countsEnsure parts are neatly stackedMake new boxes as neededRead and understand specification sheetsParticipate in continuous improvement effortsWe’d Love to Hear From You IfYou are self-motivated and willing to learnYou maintain strong attendance and reliabilityYou have excellent attention to detailYou work well with inspectors and operatorsYou can continuously lift, reach, stand, and walkYou have good visionYou communicate clearly in written and verbal formYou have strong manual dexterity and agilityPhysical and Visual DemandsStanding, walking, bending, and reachingPushing and pullingReading, writing, and verbal communicationCarrying and lifting up to 50 poundsExperience PreferredHigh school diploma or equivalent6 months previous production line experience preferredBenefitsAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees’ overall wellbeing.
