Warehouse/Production Operations Supervisor

Job Summary The Warehouse/Production Supervisor will be accountable for leading direct reports to achieve production targets while maintaining safe and efficient operation and producing products to established quality standards. Key responsibilities: Manage the department with emphasis on mentoring, training, and developing all employees to their full potential. Managing all production-related activities in the department. Define the role and placement of each employee in the department. Ensure they are trained, and the department is properly staffed to meet production requirements. Execute the production schedule efficiently to meet operational goals and customer expectations. Accountable for operating efficiency and effectiveness, employee issues, product quality, housekeeping and safety. Ensure a safe and positive work environment by enforcing company policies and practices. Conduct performance reviews and discipline employees when needed. Ensure ISO compliance throughout the department. Perform Corrective Action including root cause analysis within documented time constraints. Plan, organize and direct activities based on the production control schedule. Use the Company system (AS400) to access production requirements and report the daily completions. Investigate and implement methods for rate improvements and overall annual improvements to meet or exceed goals. Maintain communication boards and update daily. Enforce all housekeeping and safety programs and ensure that the department is meeting their requirements. Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste. Foster a positive work environment that promotes continuous improvement and employee engagement. Stablish, manage and monitor performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Requirements Supervisor and Warehouse work experience Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Problem solving skills, ability to quickly adapt to unforeseen situations. Must be self-motivated, driven, flexible, adaptable and have a desire to implement change/improvements; results driven. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional and respectful manner verbally, electronically and written. Highly organized and detail-oriented skill set. Computer skills and knowledge of software programs –MRP/ERP Systems, MS Office Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and OSHA regulations.
