Warehouse Lead 1st Shift
SummaryPerforms functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting shipping goals for customer orders by providing daily direction, instructions, and training to warehouse personnel and reporting on all warehouse activities to appropriate departments / managers. Assist the Shift Supervisor and/or cover Supervision duties when the Supervisor is absent or not available.Essential Functions Help maintain a safe and clean work environment. Plan and assign work to meet daily outbound shipping goals and inbound receiving accuracy. Assist in the inspection of all incoming and outgoing vehicles before receiving or loading. Review and process all inbound documentation and assist as needed or required in the process of receiving Ensure compliance of Allergen Control Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving, and warehousing. Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations to prevent contamination and assure product integrity. Ensure all lot codes are documented, and all paperwork processed daily is accurate. Review and process all outbound documentation to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Responsible for ensuring secure loading/unloading of product to prevent damage. Must report and assist in investigation of damages to products or equipment due to warehouse personnel actions. Monitor, replenishment, and fulfillment of production raw material replenishment requests. Maintain an accurate inventory of all finished goods in the warehouse. Follows and enforces guidelines for HAZMAT shipments in accordance with IATA, FAA and DOT. Enforces and maintains proper storage and identification for HAZMAT inventory. Perform any additional tasks / special projects assigned by the warehouse manager.
