Licensed Practical Nurse

Seeking a LPN to join the team at Keystone Urology Specialists! As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing primary care to patients (including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation) in our medical office.This is a full-time position; Monday - Friday. No evenings or weekends.Responsibilities:Provides quality patient care by adhering to practice guidelines, standards of care and federal/state laws and regulationsCreates a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations; adheres to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage proceduresMaintains patient confidentialityDocuments patient care services by charting in electronic medical records (Medent)Partners with others within the practice to improve patient care processes and outcomesMonitor and maintain inventory of nursing supplies, anticipate necessary supplies; ensures proper operation of medical equipment and completes preventative maintenance requirements set forthContinue to build and maintain professional and technical knowledge in urologyCreates a positive working relationship among the physicians and KUS staff; demonstrates respect; proactively communicates with others;Acts as a team player to help the practice achieve its goals and provide 5-Star service to our patientsMinimum Qualifications:State-licensed practical nurse(LPN)Current CPR certificateExperience in urology and/or O.R. preferredRequired Skills:Clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, nursing skills, physiological skills, administering medication, medical teamwork, multi-tasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion and maintenanceAbout Us
