Job Description: Please note candidates with less than one full year of experience should apply directly. Candidates must have 1 to 5 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions. Ideal candidates will also have (i) a working knowledge of secured lending transactions; (ii) experience in closing transactions and (iii) familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists in connection with the same. Knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, acquisition financing (including commitment letters), debt securities offerings (including high yield and/or convertible notes), and general corporate law are also preferred. All candidates must have a JD or the equivalent and have demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school, gained training and development experience at a large law firm, shown the ability to work on multiple diverse projects simultaneously, and produced work that reflects strong attention to detail. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000-$365,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
