Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Federal contracting, negotiation, and administration experience with USG DoW contracts. Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) a plus. Multiple years of professional Contracts experience, including all phases of proposal development, contracts negotiation and administration. Main support will fall within the Advanced Programs Portfolio, though may be asked to support other portfolios/areas within the ACS Market Segment.Responsibilities include assisting in creating/writing contracts, developing negotiation strategies, ensuring contract compliance and efficient contract administration, and establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations, both internally and externally. Advises management of contract matters and risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Manages and participates in and/or conducts contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for accurate contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, customer specifications and legal requirements. Participates in proposal preparation by reviewing proposal terms and conditions, conduct risk analysis and leads the program teams in developing mitigation strategies for proposal submittals. Some experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting and a willingness to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA) Ability to work independently and Task oriented and attention to detail Experience working in a fast paced environment Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action. Knowledge of government property management, data rights, and proposals.
