Details Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a hospital setting Patient population includes general rehab, stroke rehab, spinal cord rehab, and brain injury rehab Patient ratio of 1:5 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM Weekend coverage required Floating to other units is required No on-call responsibilities 13-week contract Requirements Active LA or compact RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Epic EMR experience required A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Royal blue scrubs required RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract; the facility is strict about excessive RTO requests Minimal RTO is strongly encouraged during the Mardi Gras period (approximately February 13–22) Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered American Traveler Job ID P-690735.
