Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890 Location: Lorain, Ohio (Zip 44053) — near Lake Erie and the Cleveland metro area Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026) Unit: 4 West – Med Surg/Oncology (32 Bed Unit) Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN Required Qualifications At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience Current RN license in Ohio or compact state (Registered Nurse license) BLS certification required prior to direct patient care NIH Stroke Certification required Dysrhythmia Exam required Oncology experience preferred (Med/Surg/Oncology nursing experience a plus) Primary Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation Perform and document complete patient assessments and maintain accurate nursing care plans Administer medications safely and accurately, including IV therapy and infusion pumps Utilize and manage clinical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, Arjo equipment, Alaris pumps, Epidural/PCA pumps, Kangaroo pumps, wound vacs, and high-flow oxygen Obtain and manage CVC line draws and support central line maintenance protocols Coordinate patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and serve as a patient advocate Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support patient- and family-centered care Patient Population Caring for a diverse population including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg/Oncology setting.
