Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Step into a meaningful, contract-based opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role offers the chance to provide vital support to students at either the junior high (7th–8th grade) or K–4 elementary level. With a schedule of 35 hours per week and the possibility to start around mid-August, you'll play an essential part in student success throughout the academic year.Desired Qualifications & Experience:Current credential as a School Psychologist, with experience in educational settings.Strong familiarity with IDEA and Illinois-specific educational rules and regulations.Experience participating in and supporting the MTSS process.Demonstrated ability to manage special education evaluation timelines and track student progress effectively.Skilled in conducting Manifestation Determinations.Proficient in scheduling, facilitating, and documenting domain meetings, EDCs, and ARs.In-depth knowledge of IEPs, 504s, Dyslexia Services (DS), and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).Hands-on experience with assessment systems such as Q-global and FastBridge, as well as proficiency with Google Docs.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to develop and monitor individualized education plans.Facilitate meetings and ensure accurate, timely documentation for compliance.Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of MTSS and special education processes.Serve as a resource and advocate for students' academic and emotional success.If you're driven to make a difference and bring specialized expertise to support students, this contract offers a rewarding and purposeful role.
