A company is looking for a Distributed Systems Engineer 5 - Cloud Gateway. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and integrate functionality to enhance security, observability, and resilience for cloud traffic Build software solutions to improve developer and product experience in collaboration with team members and stakeholders Drive alignment with stakeholders and provide technical mentorship for junior engineers through design and code reviewsRequired QualificationsExperience in designing and developing software for highly reliable and scalable distributed systems in a cloud environment Hands-on experience with API Gateway technologies such as Envoy Gateway or Istio Gateway Deep expertise in L4 (TCP/UDP) and L7 (HTTP/S, gRPC, WebSockets) protocols Solid understanding of Kubernetes internals, including Networking and CNI Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, or C++
