Adecco is hiring for a QC Inspector for a manufacturer in Devens, MA! This is a temp to hire opportunity.Pay rate: $27-32 per hour DOESchedule: Monday-Friday 9am-530pmKey Responsibilities and DutiesInspections:Conduct visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.Measurement & Testing:Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.Documentation:Record inspection results, test data, and quantities inspected (including defect rates).Compliance:Ensure compliance with company, industry, and international standards (e.g., ISO 9000).Quality Control:Identify, isolate (quarantine), and report defective products or nonconforming materials.Process Improvement:Recommend adjustments to production processes to reduce errors and enhance efficiency.Collaboration:Work with production teams and engineers to resolve quality issues.Required Skills and QualificationsAttention to Detail:High level of precision in identifying flaws.Technical Skills:Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Tool Proficiency:Experience using inspection equipment (e.g., optical comparators, measuring instruments).Communication:Clearly reporting defects and providing feedback to production teams.If interested, apply here directly!
