About BaruponBarupon LLC is a technology-driven infrastructure and manufacturing company developing large-scale industrial ecosystems that integrate energy generation, advanced manufacturing, and next-generation digital infrastructureThrough initiatives such as the Liberty American Manufacturing Park (LAMP), Barupon is building large industrial campuses designed to support data centers, advanced manufacturing, logistics, and high-performance technology infrastructure powered by reliable domestic energy systems.Barupon's mission is to strengthen American industrial capacity while developing energy-powered infrastructure platforms capable of supporting major technology and manufacturing tenants.Position OverviewBarupon is seeking a highly experienced Director of Strategic Partnerships – Data Centers & Digital Infrastructure to lead the development of strategic relationships with hyperscale cloud providers, data center developers, colocation operators, and digital infrastructure partners.This individual will play a critical role in helping Barupon attract and secure major data center tenants and infrastructure partners for its large-scale industrial developments.The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the data center industry and has contributed significantly to major data center or hyperscale infrastructure projects, including developing strategic partnerships that enable large-scale deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership DevelopmentIdentify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise technology companies, and data center operatorsStructure and negotiate long-term partnership agreements supporting large-scale data center deploymentsData Center Tenant AcquisitionAttract anchor tenants and hyperscale operators for Barupon's industrial campusesSupport long-term agreements related to power capacity, land development, and infrastructure integrationDigital Infrastructure Ecosystem DevelopmentDevelop partnerships across the broader digital infrastructure ecosystem, including:Data center developersColocation operatorsFiber network providersCooling and infrastructure technology providersEnergy infrastructure providers supporting data center operationsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Barupon's leadership, infrastructure teams, and capital markets teams to align partnerships with energy development, infrastructure planning, and long-term growth strategyIndustry Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with senior executives across the data center, digital infrastructure, and hyperscale cloud ecosystemRepresent Barupon in key industry discussions and partnership opportunitiesRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in data center development, digital infrastructure partnerships, or hyperscale infrastructure ecosystemsProven track record of developing or securing strategic partnerships within the data center industryDemonstrated experience contributing to large-scale data center or hyperscale infrastructure deploymentsDeep understanding of data center infrastructure requirements, including power, cooling, connectivity, and scalabilityStrong industry relationships with data center operators, developers, hyperscale cloud providers, or digital infrastructure companiesExperience negotiating long-term infrastructure partnerships or tenant agreementsStrong ability to collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with hyperscale cloud providers or enterprise data center operatorsExperience supporting large-scale data center campus developmentsStrong understanding of power infrastructure and energy requirements for data centersExperience working with digital infrastructure investment firms or infrastructure fundsExperience in large industrial or technology infrastructure development environmentsWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleWithin the first 12–24 months, this leader will:Establish strong partnerships across the data center and digital infrastructure ecosystemSecure major data center operators or hyperscale tenantsHelp position Barupon's industrial campuses as attractive locations for large-scale digital infrastructure developmentPlease answer the following in your cover letter:Describe the largest data center or hyperscale infrastructure project you have been involved in.
