Job Title: Conflicts Resolution AnalystJob Type: Full-Time | PermanentLocation: San Francisco, CA or New York, NYWork Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Conflicts Resolution Analyst to support the Firm’s Conflicts of Interest Attorneys in reviewing and resolving conflict reports and related matters. This role plays a critical part in protecting the Firm and its clients by ensuring thorough conflicts analysis, proactive communication, and sound risk-based recommendations.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises strong professional judgment, and delivers exceptional client service while managing sensitive and time-critical matters.Key ResponsibilitiesConflict Review & ResolutionReview and analyze conflict reports, including those related to lateral hires, with a focus on entity roles, waiver language, and matter status.Conduct in-depth research on entities and affiliate relationships using commercial databases.Partner with attorneys to confirm matter details and develop well-reasoned conflict resolution recommendations.Advise attorneys on required resolution steps in accordance with Conflicts Counsel and OGC guidelines.Draft and review conflicts waiver language under Conflicts Counsel supervision.Implement ethical walls in compliance with Firm policies.Clearly document and communicate analyses and resolutions.Escalate complex or high-risk conflicts issues as appropriate.Professional Development & Continuous ImprovementStay current on conflicts regulations, new business trends, and developments within the legal industry.Utilize relevant technology to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery.Contribute to departmental initiatives and process improvement projects.Continue developing expertise in conflicts analysis and risk identification.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in issue spotting, legal research, and developing recommendations; prior conflicts experience strongly preferred.Familiarity with tools such as Intapp Open Conflicts, ServiceNow, Dun & Bradstreet, LexisNexis, and/or iManage/SPM preferred.Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
