Direct Support Professional Overview: Looking for a direct support professional to provide personal assistance services for young man in Lexington, KY! Generally, Personal Assistance will enable a person to accomplish tasks that the person normally would do for himself or herself, if he or she did not have a disability. Personal assistance tasks include, but are not limited to: - Assist individual in tasks such as dressing/undressing, grooming, meal preparation, bathing, and personal hygiene. - Provide support during physical activities including walks, and other recreational activities. - Offer transportation services for accessing community resources and activities. - Engage in observing, guiding, and training individuals during various activities to promote independence. Hours: Monday - Thursday: 3 pm - 8 pm Saturday: 12 pm - 8 pm Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Work Location: In person
