We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of a Project Coordinator.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Project Coordinator will support functions within the aerospace manufacturing Engineering department from project coordination, planning, and assisting engineers and project managers with administrative support essential in delivering program specifications and quality services to our customers. This role ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations for data that is created from internal projects or supplied by the customer.
Ensure proper Configuration Management and Change Control is implemented.
Set up new part numbers from customer orders and review customer data packages for changes to existing part numbers.
Coordinate and monitor Engineering Task Requests within the department.
Communicate with internal stakeholders, including Program Managers and Quality.
Coordinate the release of completed engineering products to appropriate departments to meet planning release dates to production.
Conduct quality/accuracy reviews of written materials prior to release.
Perform document control activities, i.e. customer data packages, customer and industry specifications, internal engineering documents
Export control: Conduct required screenings; manage and apply for licenses as required; provide export instructions to shipping; maintain required records.
ABOUT YOU:
High school diploma/GED is required. Some college preferred.
3 – 5 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or Project Coordinator position.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing highly preferred.
Familiarity with wire harness assemblies preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and technical writing.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES AND OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS:

Solid written and verbal skills
Ability to follow documented procedures, instructions, and other technical content

This position is be operated in an office type environment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
