Assembly Technician

About the Role We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring the precise assembly of components and the overall quality of our finished products. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet production goals and maintain our high standards. Responsibilities Assemble products according to Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and job travelers to meet quality standards. Conduct in-process inspections to verify product conformance to specifications and identify any deviations. Set up and verify machine setups to ensure proper operation and accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Package completed customer orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and protection. Operate production machines to fabricate and assemble components. Report work progress, priorities, and any equipment issues to management. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in using basic hand tools, including air drivers and wrenches. Ability to interpret and follow written and oral work instructions. Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills 1+ year of experience in a related assembly role. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or lift trucks. Basic data entry skills. Strong reading, math, and computer skills.
