Come see for yourself!As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced imaging applications:MR Angiography (MRA) - cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASLMR Spectroscopy (MRS) - Brain, or Breast, or ProstateMR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo-rectal coilInterventional MR - MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate biopsiesFunctional MR (fMRI) - BrainTherapeutic MR (HiFu) - Fibroid tumorsYou will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization.*Should you not meet the experience standards required for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI Technologist position** Internal candidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career ladder level*Staff Technologist: $52.22 - $ 68.84 HourlySenior Technologist: $54.79 - $72.30 HourlySalary Range: $52.22 - $72.30 Hourly QualificationsPlease ensure your resume includes a list of all relevant certifications and licenses.3 years MRI Experience - requiredLicensesA combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate requiredORA combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - requiredVenipuncture certificate - requiredBCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - requiredGraduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - requiredAA or BS - preferredSiemens experience - preferredDemonstrates competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.Demonstrates ability to train additional MR staff in addition to performing the advanced procedures without direction themselvesYou will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health
