Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Madison, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,219 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of two years as a staff therapist in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital. Pediatric and adult experience preferred. License: WI RCP required Certifications: NBRC - RRT, BLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: Experience in emergency department, pediatrics, basic EKG, adult critical care, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and various respiratory procedures. Description: Evening/Night shifts with every other weekend rotation and one on-call shift every six-week scheduling period. Total of 36 hours per week. Position supports both hospital locations. Travelers must have experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital. COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions only. Travelers will deal with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Staffing will include a call requirement every six weeks. Float requirements may exist, as travelers may be asked to work in multiple units depending on staffing needs. Managers will review requests for time off during the candidate review process. Travelers should meet specific pass/fail testing criteria necessary for employment. Candidates will undergo a telemetry exam prior to starting, with strict passing criteria for lethal rhythms. A telemetry competency must be on file for each traveler. Daily census and patient visit numbers may vary. This role requires active participation in patient care and interdisciplinary support.
