Senior Tax Associate | Hybrid | Waukesha, WI | $100-110KAprio is partnering with one of the fastest-growing professional service firms in the country to find a Senior Tax Associate ready to take on complex work, mentor junior staff, and grow into a leadership role.What You'll Be DoingPrepare and review complex federal and state tax returns — 1040s, 1065s, 1120-S, 1120s, and 1041sConduct tax research and summarize findings to support compliance and planning decisionsIdentify tax-saving opportunities and communicate ideas to managers and clientsHandle client correspondence including notices and general tax questionsSupport year-round tax planning including entity selection, restructuring, and multi-state issuesMentor and review work prepared by junior Tax AssociatesWhat We're Looking For3–5+ years of public accounting tax experienceStrong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation for individuals and closely held entitiesCPA certified or actively pursuing (preferred)Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft ExcelStrong communicator with excellent organizational and time-management skillsMust be located within one hour of Waukesha, WIThe SetupPermanent, direct hireHybrid — flexible work arrangements401(k) with firm contributionComprehensive health benefits + FSA/HSAPaid CPE and professional duesCollaborative, employee-centric culture with accessible leadershipInterested?
