Senior Accounting Manager

Required field. Our client is an organization in the Greater Milwaukee area looking for a SeniorAccounting Supervisor. This client is looking for someone with 6+ years of accounting experience, strong leadership skills and who is driven. This role is highly visibly in a growing company with a strong brand!The salary range for this role is $140k-170k + bonusThe Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:RESPONSIBILITIESLead the preparation, review, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders. Oversee the evaluation and approval of complex accounting transactions and key accounting estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of company accounting policies and procedures within assigned areas, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal standards. Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, including oversight of balance sheet reconciliations, financial system integrity, and the accuracy of financial data within accounting systems. Collaborate with Finance leadership to develop and monitor financial forecasts, budgets, and expenditure plans, including analysis of variances. Analyze financial results and operational performance using trend analysis, reporting tools, and data analytics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders. Serve as a key liaison during the external financial statement audit, coordinating audit schedules. Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function, recommending and implementing enhancements to processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. Ad hoc projects as needed. The Accounting Supervisor will possess the following:EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor's degree in accounting or related field. 6+ years of accounting experience. CPA license and experience in manufacturing industry preferred. Strong financial analysis skills. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate team needs.
