This role supports mission-critical emergency communications integration between VMOD systems, DISA VISP, and Army PSAP environments.Duties and Responsibilities:Support deployment and integration of Ribbon Federal Edge gatewaysSupport engineering issue tracking and technical recommendationsSupport SIP interconnection engineering and policy routing supportAnalyze and troubleshoot E-911 call flow issuesSupport deployment validation and readiness assessmentsIdentify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategiesSupport connectivity among Federal Edge, VISP and Army PSAP systemsAssist issue resolution affecting gateway deployment and performanceSupport technical coordination related to E-911 routing requirements.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience10+ years telecommunications engineering experience5+ years VoIP / SIP engineering.Experience with:Ribbon Communications / Sonus / GENBANDSession Border ControllersSIP signaling and interconnectsE-911 or PSAP integrationActive Secret clearance.Preferred Experience:DISA VISP familiarityArmy VMOD experiencePSAP interconnection experienceCisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE)NG 911 Public Safety Communications background/ familiarity.
