Position SummarySeeking a senior Telecommunications Engineering Specialist to support Ribbon Federal Edge deployments, SIP interconnection engineering, and E-911 routing initiatives associated with Army Voice Modernization. The role focuses on mission-critical emergency communications integration across Federal and Army telecom systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport deployment and integration of Ribbon Federal Edge gatewaysProvide SIP interconnection engineering and policy routing supportTroubleshoot E-911 call flow and routing issuesSupport deployment readiness assessments and validation activitiesCoordinate connectivity between Federal Edge, DISA VISP, and Army PSAP systemsAssist in issue resolution impacting gateway deployment and performanceSupport technical coordination for emergency communications routingIdentify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategiesSupport telecom engineering issue tracking and escalationRequired Qualifications10+ years of telecommunications engineering experience5+ years of VoIP / SIP engineering experienceExperience with Ribbon Communications, Sonus, or Genband platformsExperience with Session Border Controllers (SBC)Experience with SIP signaling and interconnectsExperience with E-911 or PSAP integrationActive Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsDISA VISP familiarityArmy VMOD experiencePSAP interconnection experienceCisco certifications (CCNP / CCIE)NG911 Public Safety Communications backgroundWork ScheduleMonday – Friday8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ESTBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceDisability CoverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Life Insurance401(k)PTO and Paid HolidaysBereavement LeaveRelocation Assistance Available
