Blow Molding Process Technician - 3rd Shift

HiFyve is hiring a Technician - Blow Molding in the plastics industry in Valencia, CA!Salary: $27-37/hr (DOE)Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)Location: On-site - Valencia, CAJob Duties and Responsibilities• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on blow molding machines and related support equipment• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair processing, mechanical, and electrical issues on PET bottle production lines• Monitor and adjust blow molding processes to optimize bottle quality and minimize scrap• Complete bottle, preform, and mold changeovers according to established procedures• Follow complete startup and shutdown procedures per company and machine requirements• Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and new technology implementations• Maintain accurate downtime, maintenance, and production documentation throughout the shift• Support process improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, ergonomics, and cycle time reduction• Assist with cross-training technicians and performing related processing and maintenance tasksEducation Requirements• High School diploma or equivalent required• Technical school training in blow molding or injection molding preferred• Minimum of 3 years of industrial processing or maintenance experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Knowledge of blow molding equipment, processes, and auxiliary systems• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English• Basic math and computer skills• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision• Experience performing preventative maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment• Ability to operate material handling equipment and become forklift certified within 60 days• Understanding of OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, kneeling, and repetitive motions• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
