NFL: Technical Product Owner - EMR - Electronic Medical RecordsLocation: On-site at NYC HeadquartersWe are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner with a strong background in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically tailored for sports applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in design thinking and technical solutions, with proven experience in managing projects end to end and a dedication to quality. This role involves working with cross-functional teams through the entire product implementation lifecycle, ensuring that system testing and support processes adhere to industry standards, compliance requirements, and meet client expectations. Additionally, candidates should possess the flexibility and willingness to move between projects and work on other emerging technologies as organizational needs evolve.Responsibilities:• Internal Client and Stakeholder Managemento Work alongside stake holders to assume the vendor liaison role in gathering requirementsto turn them into actionable work items.o Collaborate with team members to lead regular project updates to keep businessstakeholders informed about progress, testing outcomes, and support metrics.o Build strong relationships, providing transparent communication and managingexpectations effectively.• End-to-End Planning and Executiono Collaborate with stakeholders, vendor and cross functional team members in creating andmaintaining roadmap in alignment with business priorities and expectationso Work with PMO team to create project plan that cover deliverables, timelines, testingprotocols, and resource allocation.o Work with vendor team members to adjust and organize deliverables and test plans.o Set milestones for each project phase, from requirements gathering till product launch.o Closely monitor timelines, adjusting plans as needed to address technical challenges orevolving requirements.• Team Leadership and Knowledge Developmento Support cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring alignment on roles for development,testing, and support.o Thorough knowledge of systems integrations via REST or other protocols, UI/UX toolsets.o Good understanding of front end and backend systems design and data management, dataengineeringo Guide system testing protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards andregulatory requirements.o Conduct regular team meetings, fostering skill development and performance recognition.• System Testing and Quality Assurance Managemento Oversee a structured approach to testing, including unit, integration, regression,performance, and end-to-end tests. o Work with QA engineers to design comprehensive test cases that cover functionality andedge cases.o Review testing outcomes, addressing defects to ensure all issues are resolved beforedelivery.o Smoke test results with every deployment• Technical Support and Issue Resolutiono Manage a technical support framework to ensure effective issue resolution, with escalationpaths for complex problems.o Manage the issue tracking process, from identification through to resolution, and conductroot cause analysis to prevent recurrence.o Oversee post-implementation technical support to ensure a smooth transition for clientsand address any ongoing needs.o Continue to groom the backlog with identified technical improvements• Documentation and Reportingo Maintain thorough project documentation, covering requirements, testing results, andsupport cases to ensure compliance.o Manage progress reports that capture project health, testing metrics, and support activitiesfor stakeholders.o Ensure documentation is accurate and accessible for audits or future reference.• Continuous Improvement and Innovationo Use insights from Agile retrospectives and support metrics to drive process improvements.o Research and implement best practices in system testing and support, increasing efficiencyand client satisfaction.o Foster a culture of innovation and encourage team contributions to process enhancements.Required Qualifications:• Experience:o AI / ML utilization in Electronic Medical records for sports is ideal.o 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on EMR systems for sportstechnologies, system testing, and technical support.o Proven success in managing large-scale IT projects that prioritize quality assurance andsupport.o Experience in healthcare technology, with a strong understanding of compliancestandards, both HIPAA and OSHA.• Technical Expertise:o Expertise in EMR platforms, data integration, and healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA,OSHA).o Skilled with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana), testing tools (e.g., Selenium,TestRail), and support systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).o Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and incident management best practices.• Leadership and Communication Skills:o Effective team leadership with the ability to drive collaboration, motivate performance,and resolve conflicts.o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.o Strong communication skills for managing client relations, directing teams, and detaileddocumentation. Preferred Qualifications:• AI first product management• Certified Product Owner or similar certifications.• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or related fields.• Experience with EMR-related performance metrics, troubleshooting techniques, and dataanalytics.• 20% Travel Requirement – Travel required to stadiums, offsite meetings / events,business partnersTerms /Expected Hours of Work:Candidate is required to work 40 hours per week and work out of the New York NFL office.
