Industrial EngineerCLEARANCE TYPE: NoWORK SHIFT: Mon – Thu as 0700 – 1642 and Friday 0700 – 1100DescriptionIndustrial Engineer who analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.Responsilibilites for Industrial Engineer 3:• Create, maintain and status network-based, Master Production Schedules in support of E-6B programs• Fully understands critical path schedule network processing, driven by logic, durations and date constraints• Experience with IMP/IMS schedule structure as well as schedules based on Work Breakdown Structures• Experience exporting schedule data to Excel and working with responsible parties to gather and report schedule status and productivity metrics per weekly and monthly reporting cyclesBasic Qualifications for Industrial Engineer 3:• Bachelor's Degree in relevant area of study and 4 years of experience• High energy, results oriented (commitment to follow up), self-motivated / self-directed, proactive, team player• Strong problem solving and analysis skills with the ability to learn from mistakes• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with and drive deliverables from individuals at all levels within the organizationPreferred Qualifications for Industrial Engineer 3:• Experience utilizing all aspects of Microsoft Project to manage IMS• Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance• Experience on new programsRequest is subject to SCA guidelines and regulationsPer Diem only offered to those candidates living outside a 50 mile radius of the work location.Per Diem will be paid in accordance with rates published on the GSA website for the work location.Expenses are to be entered into CONCUR.
