Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with Neuro/Spine experience for a day shift OR position at a comprehensive hospital in Birmingham, AL.Job Details• Main OR setting within a 595-bed comprehensive hospital managed and operated by Orlando Health,• Neuro and Spine surgical patient population,• 1:1 patient ratio in a 24-bed OR department,• Day shift, 06:00-16:30,• On-call required on weekends, distributed evenly by the OR Coordinator,• Uses standard OR equipment; Cerner EMR experience preferred,• 36 hours per week,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of recent Neuro/Spine surgical technologist experience required,• BLS certification required; only AHA-issued certifications are accepted (American Red Cross is not accepted),• CST or applicable state license required if applicable,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,Additional Information• Preferred experience includes Vascular, Da Vinci robotic, Orthopedic, and Maxillofacial surgical cases,• The facility is Joint Commission accredited and recognized for excellence in stroke care, cardiovascular services, bariatric surgery, and surgical care including minimally invasive procedures,• Scrub color: ceil blue or royal blue,• Fleece jackets, hooded garments, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and nail polish are not permitted,• NIH Stroke Scale certification required at time of consideration; only AHA is accepted,
