Travel RN - Operating Room - First Assist

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN First Assist for a hospital Operating Room in Massachusetts with an active MA RN license and advanced peri-operative skills.Job Details• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting,• Primary responsibilities include first assisting and occasionally circulating in surgical procedures,• Schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts, 07:00-17:30,• Call required two evenings per week and one full weekend every three weeks,• Uses Epic EMR for charting,Job Requirements• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted,• Completion of an RN First Assisting (RNFA) course conforming to AORN Core Curriculum required,• Minimum five years of peri-operative nursing experience with both scrubbing and circulating proficiency,• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required,• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing,Additional Information• Assist surgeons in a lead role until the conclusion of operative procedures,• Must reside more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital to receive the standard pay rate; local candidates receive a reduced rate,• Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions for medical or religious reasons,• Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid public parking is required,
