Grants Manager and Executive Assistant to the Superintendent

JOB TITLE: Grants Manager/Superintendent's Executive AssistantREPORTS TO: SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLSPosition SummaryThe job of the Grants Manager/Executive Assistant serves dual functions. The Grants Manager is responsible for identifying, securing, managing, and ensuring compliance for federal, state, and private grant funding that supports district instructional priorities and student outcomes. This role serves as the district's specialist on grants administration, working collaboratively with district leadership, school administrators, business office staff, and program coordinators to maximize funding opportunities while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations. This role also provides executive-level administrative support to the Superintendent of Schools. This role plays a critical role in ensuring organizational effectiveness. The incumbent must demonstrate: discretion, professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters in a public school environment.SupervisionWorks under the administrative direction of the Superintendent of Schools, while providing support and coordinating with the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Finance.Education, Experience, RequirementsBachelor's Degree required; preferably an emphasis in Business Management or Business Administration.Minimum of three years of secretarial or leadership experience is required.For a detailed list of reponsibilities associated with this position please read the attached Job Description.Physical RequirementsThe employee frequently is required to stand, walk, operate office equipment, sit, and occasionally to reach with hands and arms.The employee may occasionally be required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move office equipment and paper boxes.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Daily use of computer monitors is required. Requires typing on the computer keyboard with frequent interruptions.Salary And BenefitsThis is a CONFIDENTIAL Non-Union salaried position FLSA exempt.Salary range from $70,000 to $85,000 annually. Initial salary dependent upon demonstrated and verifiable skills, experience and expertise in the areas noted in the job description requirements.Full time twelve (12) month work year (37.5 hours per week)Full benefits package including employer sponsored health and dental insurance coverage, paid vacation and holidays, paid sick, personal and bereavement days, employer sponsored group term life insurance and retirement plan.
