Cochran's Lee's Summit, Missouri location, is looking for a Civil CAD Drafter/Designerto join our team.Position OverviewJoin our civil engineering team as a CAD Drafter/Designer, creating precise technical drawings that bring infrastructure and site development projects to life. You'll collaborate with engineers to turn concepts into buildable plans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency from design through completion.Key Responsibilities:Must have an understanding of Civil CAD-based drafting procedures.Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD), Civil 3D softwareDraft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction various projectsDraw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, and structuresCorrelate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reportsFinish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction, photography, or other duplicating methodsReview rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Civil Engineers to ensure that they conform to design conceptsProvide Engineers and Surveyors with drafting support Qualifications2+ years civil or land surveying experience, preferredTwo-year design/drafting degreeProficiency with Civil 3D, Microsoft Office BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses100% company paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long-Term Disability insurance for employees, plus company deductible assistance401(k) with 4% company matchGenerous PTO plan and 7 major holidaysContinuing education and professional development support
