Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, seeks a talented mid‑senior level Associate Attorney to join its Business Litigation Practice in Washington DC. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid‑level litigator to work on complex, high‑exposure trial matters with a collaborative and dynamic litigation team.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top‑tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, in good standing.
Law Review or Clerkship experience is a plus.
4+ years of substantive commercial, business litigation experience.
Experience with federal court litigation is also a plus.
Demonstrated stand‑up experience, including taking and defending depositions and courtroom advocacy .
Proven legal research, writing , and analytical capabilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Highly motivated and driven, with a strong commitment to exceptional client service and effective teamwork .
Key Responsibilities
Manage and assist with high‑stakes business litigation matters across industries .
Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
Draft and argue motions and briefs in state and federal courts.
Participate in trial preparation , hearings, and courtroom proceedings.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams to develop case strategies .
Communicate effectively with clients, co‑counsel, and internal teams.

Benefits
Competitive Salary : Expected annual salary range of $195,000-$200,000, as determined by experience and market factors.
