Senior Software Developer

Software Developer III, Billing OperationsEvery team member of the crew is charged with bringing our client's strategic vision of personalized wireless to life. This position will be working in the Billing Applications to provide and maintain highly specialized information technology solutions. They will be performing a variety of technical work in the development of new software applications including analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting as well as support of current applications and systems.Candidate must have a Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in software development.Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development field is required.Extensive software development experience and ability to effectively troubleshoot system problems are required.Extensive development experience in Perl, Python, K Shell, and SQL expected. UNIX and Windows operating system experience required.Ability to work independently as a lead in research and development with minimum supervision.Ability to grasp structured concepts in order to provide design documentation and recommendations.Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.Ability to be collaborative and work with upper level management.Ability to manage timelines.Must be able to sit for long periods and use computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing computer screen. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members.Required Skills: Must be able to convert after contract to client without sponsorship.
