Encore Technologies is hiring a Data warehouse Developer for our direct client requirement. Participate in the transition from on-prem databases to cloud based solutions. Support legacy products based on the SQL BI Stack, Transactional Replication, MicroStrategy’s semantic model, and scripts written in Powershell etc. Contribute to the design and optimization of our data layer as the company’s single layer of the truth Translate business requirements into detailed, production-level technical specifications and data models Contribute to our ETL framework by learning our current capabilities and leveraging your unique insights and experience Required Qualifications: Four years of experience working with data warehouses Three years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining normalized, operational data store, and dimensionally modeled database systems. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or a related discipline Strong experience using SQL including complex stored procedures, common table expressions, analytic functions, query optimization, and indexing Working knowledge of data management and data warehousing technologies related to data modeling, database administration and performance tuning, archiving and disaster recovery Experience building solutions with object oriented languages Desired Qualifications: Experience working with low-latency data systems (stream processing, CDC, etc.) Experience using agile/scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs Experience with Business Intelligence tools (MicroStrategy preferred) Experience working with multi-terabyte data sets Experience designing and building enterprise conceptual or logical data models Ability to effectively communicate at different levels in and across the organization and to articulate to non-technical audiences the advantages and disadvantages of using various technologies and standards Encore Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
