Social Media Volunteer - Atlanta-Based Black Historic Cemetery Preservation

Cobb Bethel AME Church, founded in 1863, is the guardian of one of Atlanta's oldest African American cemeteries, a sacred space rich with stories of strength, landownership, and heritage. As we work to protect and uplift this historic site, we're looking for a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help share its story and keep our mission visible and relevant online. In this role, you will: Develop and manage content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter Create graphics, reels, and posts that inspire action and tell our community's story Collaborate with committee members to promote events, fundraisers, and volunteer days Track engagement and grow our digital presence Keep our followers informed, engaged, and inspired This flexible, impactful opportunity is ideal for someone who understands the power of digital storytelling and wants to help safeguard Black history for future generations.This is an Atlanta-based role. Occasional on-site content capture at the cemetery is required Join us in amplifying voices, sharing legacy, and building community one post at a time.
