As a small community based nonprofit located in Atlanta, Georgia, we are dedicated to transforming the health outcomes of women, particularly Black women, affected by breast cancer through culturally affirming education, support, and advocacy.Our programs focus on lifestyle, health equity, patient empowerment, and reducing toxic exposures, while creating sisterhood, healing, and hope along the way.________________________________________________________________________We are a small but mighty team doing big work, and we're looking for a passionate Volunteer Social Media & Communications Manager to help us grow our digital presence and amplify our voice.To learn more about us: Click HERE________________________________________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage a monthly social media calendar (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)Design eye-catching and educational content (graphics, reels, carousels, infographics) using Canva or similar toolsWrite engaging captions that resonate with our community's voice (relatable, empowering, real talk)Highlight survivor stories, upcoming events, program updates, and health tipsTrack basic analytics and recommend ways to improve reach and engagementSupport other communications like newsletters, event promotion, and fundraising campaignsEnsure consistency of tone, branding, and messaging across platforms________________________________________________________________________You're a Great Fit If You...Are passionate about health equity, wellness, and uplifting Black womenHave experience managing social media accounts for nonprofits, brands, or personal projectsAre a creative storyteller who understands how to connect emotionally with an audienceHave design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar) and can create compelling visualsHave strong writing and editing skills with an eye for clarity and authenticityAre proactive, organized, and able to meet deadlines without micromanagementWant to use your talents to drive real, measurable community impact
