Office Services Specialist
Job DescriptionJob Summary:Under the direction of the Office Services Supervisor, the Office Services Specialist is responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner, general office services, and carrying out various projects. Key Duties/Responsibilities:Receives, sorts, routes and delivers incoming mail, parcels and packages by department, and prepares outgoing mail. Sorts and delivers interdepartmental mail. Operates mailroom equipment including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and insertingmachine. Schedules maintenance for mailroom and office equipment. Processes and performs mass mailing and special projects. Maintains records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information. Replenishes postage on the postage meter as needed. Replenishes and stocks supplies needed for the mailroom and common areas. Maintains UPS shipping and accounts. Maintains clean and orderly mailroom. Performs special projects as needed including some assembly of office furniture, and minor repairs. Ensures quality and accuracy. Maintains various logsProvides back up support to front desk operations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintains good attendance record and punctuality. Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of mail. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to troubleshoot and complete projects in a timely manner. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
