Urgent Care Physician - No Call Coverage - Missouri We are seeking an Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care FP Physician for an outpatient assignment in Missouri. This locums opportunity offers a manageable commitment for clinicians seeking to supplement their current schedule. Highlights No call coverage required for this assignment. Flexible scheduling with only a 2-week minimum commitment. Travel and lodging accommodations are provided. Malpractice insurance included for all shifts. Practice Setting Outpatient preventative and urgent care clinic. Support staff includes one Medical Assistant and one office staff member. Patient population includes ages 6 months and up. Average volume of 36-48 patients per shift. Schedule Short-term or ongoing coverage available. Block scheduling options with 12-hour shifts. Weekend shifts available with shorter hours. No long-term commitment required beyond the initial block. Procedures and Cases General Urgent Care cases. Minor procedures including suturing, I&Ds, and splinting. IV placement and interpretation of onsite X-rays and EKGs. Requirements Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine. Minimum of 12 months of experience. Current BLS certification. Proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months. Credentialing Requirements Standard 90-day credentialing timeframe. Active Missouri licensure or IMLC (LOQ) on hand required.
