SAP HCM UK Payroll Consultant - Freelancer (48 hours per month)Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP HCM UK Payroll Consultant to support and manage the maintenance of an existing SAP HCM Payroll implementation. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring payroll system efficiency, legislative compliance, and successful adaptation to new payroll processes and payment frequencies.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and resolve user tickets related to payroll processes within the SAP HCM system.Maintain and enhance the SAP HCM UK Payroll solution according to business needs.Adapt the payroll system to support weekly pay calculations and related processes.Ensure legislative compliance by reviewing and updating UK tax and National Insurance (NI) rates.Support payslip redesign activities to reflect new payment frequencies while maintaining clarity and usability.Collaborate with stakeholders to improve payroll process transparency and employee understanding.Provide support for employee communication related to payroll process changes.Perform system testing and validation following configuration updates and legislative changes.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with SAP HCM UK Payroll.Proven experience managing payroll maintenance and support activities.Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax processes, and National Insurance regulations.Familiarity with UK governmental payroll bodies and compliance requirements.Experience in payroll process adaptation, including weekly payroll calculations.Ability to manage user requests, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in payslip redesign and payroll communication initiatives.Previous experience working in payroll transformation or payroll optimization projects.SAP HCM Payroll certification is a plus.Interested?
