The Principal Security Engineer - Hardware Security will conduct security assessments of production hardware and develop requirements for future components, while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational security posture.Responsibilities:• Conduct security assessments of the production hardware that runs the cloud.• Develop requirements for future Networking, Storage, Compute components.• Work closely across Oracle, with third party vendors, and with standards organizations to influence the next generation of hardware platform security.• Define the supply chain and operational requirements to establish best practices for managing security for every device in the data centers.• Collaborate with OCI's operations and engineering teams to improve Oracle Cloud's overall operational security posture.• Perform a variety of work ranging from cloud security, application security, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, and hacking/enterprise network penetration.Qualifications:Required:• Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages: English• Unique opportunities for smart, hands-on security engineers with the expertise and passion to solve difficult problems in distributed highly available services and virtual infrastructure.• Significant technical and business impact designing and building innovative new systems to power customer’s business critical applications.• Conducts Security assessments of the production hardware that runs our cloud.• Develops the requirements for future Networking, Storage, Compute components.• Works closely across Oracle, with third party vendors, and with standards organization to influence the next generation of hardware platform security.• Defines the best hardware and understands that platform security also depends on how that hardware is used.• Works closely with OCI's operations and engineering teams to improve Oracle Cloud's overall operational security posture.• Defines the supply chain and operational requirements to establish best practices for managing security for every device in our data centers.• Performs a variety of work ranging from cloud security, application security, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, and hacking/enterprise network penetration.• Ability to make the right tradeoffs, communicate those decisions effectively, and execute crisply.Company:Oracle is an integrated cloud application and platform services that sells a range of enterprise information technology solutions.
