REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Yrs CC experience.Traveler Experience: no first time travelersLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: YesMust have CVICU experience or open heart experience.Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Isolation Precautions/PPE,Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSPREFERRED SKILLS/CERTSSkills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Ventilator ManagementJOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:1 night, 2:1 wkndShift: NIGHTS 18:45-07:1536 or 48 hours can be offered.Will accept 13 week contracts.Float Requirement: Yes.Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend.PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Post Open Heart Recovery Unit.
