Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a large hospital, requiring at least 2 years of travel experience with high-risk pregnancies and an active NJ RN license.Job Details• Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a large hospital setting,• High-risk pregnancy patient population,• Night shift schedule: 7p - 7a,• 36 hours per week across 3 x 12-hour shifts,• 13-week contract,• Epic EMR used for charting,• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required,Job Requirements• Active NJ RN license (or compact license) required,• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience in a large hospital L&D setting required,• Experience with high-risk pregnancies required,• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred,• Two professional references required for consideration,• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,Additional Information• Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, delivering individualized nursing care, and maintaining thorough documentation throughout the continuum of care,• Expected to uphold patient safety standards including National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocol,• Patient and family education is a key component of this role,• Epic charting experience is expected given facility EMR use,
