Pain Management Physician / Tennessee / Permanent / Pain Management Physician Job

We are seeking a Board Certified Pain Management Physician to join a premier medical group in a Permanent, Full-Time capacity. This role is ideal for a specialist looking for a high-quality clinical environment with an exceptional work-life balance. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, nurses, and physical therapists to provide comprehensive care and pain-relieving procedures. This position is strictly outpatient with no hospital rounding and no call requirements . Job Highlights Compensation & Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance are fully paid by the employer. Retirement: 401k plan with a 4% employer match . Time Off: Generous 4 weeks of standard PTO plus 810 paid holidays. Schedule: Currently Monday through Thursday (8:00 AM 4:00 PM) with a transition to Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays. Relocation: Relocation expenses are fully negotiable for the right candidate. Professional Support: Malpractice insurance is covered in full. Responsibilities Assess patient health through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and the interpretation of diagnostic tests such as X-rays and laboratory studies. Perform therapeutic procedures including nerve block injections , immunizations, and suturing. Develop and implement interdisciplinary patient management plans to eliminate misconceptions regarding pain medicine. Prescribe medications and rehabilitative services while providing consultative services to patients and their families. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and federal/state legal requirements. Contribute to the growth of the healthcare team by providing educational and experimental growth opportunities for staff. Requirements Certification: Must be Board Certified in Pain Medicine . Education: Strong preference for a residency program in Anesthesia ; will also consider Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, or Emergency Medicine. Experience: The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in pain management, specifically with nerve block injections. Licensure: Must hold an unencumbered state medical license in good standing. Continuing Education: Must fulfill all required CME/CEU hours for pain management as per state requirements. This position is available for an ASAP start date.
