Embedded Test Engineer

About the RoleJoin a cross-functional team building life-critical medical devices. As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you'll own the full testing lifecycle from crafting test strategies to building the automation infrastructure that keeps quality consistent at scale. You'll bridge the gap between verification rigor and modern engineering practices like CI/CD, making sure products meet both regulatory standards and real-world reliability expectations.What You'll Do• Design and execute test plans covering functional, integration, system, and performance testing for medical device systems• Lead V&V activities in compliance with FDA and other regulatory frameworks• Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Python, C/C++, or similar• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation• Investigate defects, drive root cause analysis, and work with engineering teams on fixes• Produce validation documentation including test reports and traceability matricesWhat You Bring• 5+ years in medical device testing, software QA, or system validation• Strong hands-on experience with system-level testing across hardware/software stacks• Proficiency in test automation and scripting• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and V&V processes• Comfort with lab equipment and low-level debuggingNice to Have• Agile/Scrum background• Linux/Unix experience• CI/CD pipeline experience• Prior mentorship or technical lead experienceCompensation:The annual salary for this position is between $100,000–$120,000 annually+ 10% bonus + Benefits.
